Using Our Kanji Cards
Last updated: 2026-10-13
Every term page on this site ends with a card we drew ourselves — the kanji in Japanese brush style, on one sheet. We made them to be saved. Here is how you may use them.
1. The license
Our kanji cards are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0). That covers the cards on each term page and the matching share images.
2. In plain words
Go ahead:
- Use one as a wallpaper or phone lock screen.
- Print it for your desk, your notebook or your kanji practice.
- Share it on social media, in a fan forum or in a school project.
- Crop it, recolor it, make it yours.
Please credit us when you share it: “Kanji card by AnimeKanjiLore” — with a link to animekanjilore.com wherever links are possible.
Please don’t:
- Sell it, or put it on anything sold — T-shirts, stickers, posters, prints, phone cases.
- Use it in advertising or in a paid product.
3. What this license does not cover
The license covers our artwork only. The names and terms of the Naruto series belong to their creator and rights holders, and nothing here grants any right to them. The kanji themselves, of course, belong to everyone.
The cards are set in Yuji Boku, a typeface released under the SIL Open Font License.
