Izanagi in kanji

Pronounced i·za·na·gi

Izanagi is a male god of Japanese mythology — the creator god who, together with his wife Izanami, gave birth to the islands of Japan. If we talk rank, he arguably stands at the very top of the mythology: the eight million gods of Japan trace back to him. He followed his wife down to Yomi, the land of the dead, and on his return purified himself of its taint — and in that purification, Amaterasu was born from his left eye, Tsukuyomi from his right, and Susanoo from his nose. Give a dōjutsu Izanagi's name, and a Japanese reader instantly senses power beyond measure.

伊邪那岐 — 伊, then 邪, then 那, then 岐. Core meanings from the KANJIDIC2 dictionary database: 伊 italy · that one; 邪 wicked · injustice; 那 what?; 岐 branch off · fork in road.

Can I use the copied kanji anywhere?

Yes — it's standard Unicode text and works on any modern OS. One caution before you print or ink it: make sure the font is a Japanese one. Some fonts render the same characters in Chinese style, and the difference shows.
